A half-day with veterans and military leaders about the values that lead to success in any setting, and how students can carry them into their own futures.
Register for the day
Students register themselves with a trusted party's contact (a parent or guardian for grades 6 to 8), or an adult registers them. A group leader can register up to 100 students on one form, or upload a roster.
Volunteer or represent an organization
For adults 18 and older: volunteers, recruiters, unit leaders and presenters.
What students will do
- Hear a keynote from a Medal of Honor recipient.
- Learn about leadership and service from Special Forces veterans and leaders from across the armed forces, the service academies and ROTC.
- Explore drones, virtual reality simulations and military vehicles.
- Ask questions, take on challenges and meet other student leaders.
Who should come
- Middle and high school students interested in leadership and service.
- Scouts working on the Find out by reporting back this Veterans Day merit badge.
- JROTC cadets, Explorers, and students considering a service academy or ROTC.
About the student's information
A student registers with a trusted party's contact, or an adult registers them; either way the adult confirms by email. We ask only for what the day needs, nothing about a student is shown publicly, and messages about the event go only to the adult who registered. How we handle student information
